By car
From Interstate 5 North: Exit Hawthorne St and proceed west on Hawthorne St until you reach Pacific Highway. Turn left onto Pacific Highway and continue until you see the InterContinental on your right-hand side. Our SIXT branch is on the ground level next to Starbucks.
From Interstate 5 South: Exit Front Street and proceed south on Front Street until you reach W Broadway. Turn right onto W Broadway, then another right onto Pacific Highway. Take the first left into the plaza, our SIXT branch is on the ground level next to Starbucks.
Return information
Upon arrival to the InterContinental Hotel, please enter the garage. Please take a ticket to enter and proceed to Level B3 to park the vehicle in any SIXT-marked stall.

I’ve been using SIXT Car Rental for months now.
I’ve rented 5 different vehicles from the Downtown San Diego location. (Intercontinetal on Bayfront Ct.)
The customer service representatives at this particular office, (particularly Jesse & Jason) have been the most accommodating service providers I’ve ever experienced at any of the major car rental companies I have used, over the last
20 years.
The vehicles are always top notch, and in excellent condition.
Personally, I would not ever bother renting from any of the other major car rental apps or Car Rental Companies.
Between the quality of the cars themselves. Combined with stellar customer service.
Every other car rental looks reductive, next to SIXT.
