You need to be at least 23 years old to rent with SIXT in Jamaica. A young driver surcharge applies to those under 25.
All drivers need a valid driver’s license and an ID or passport. If your license uses a non-Roman alphabet like Cyrillic, you will also need an international driving permit.
Choose the Pay on Arrival option when booking and cancel your reservation free of charge if your plans change.
You will be driving on the left-hand side of the road in Jamaica. Seat belts are required for all passengers, and cell phone use is not allowed while driving. Speed limits are between 50 km/h and 110 km/h depending on whether you are in a city or on a freeway.
