I booked a small vehicle and when we arrived we were given a Hyundai i10. Besides that it was too small, my own fault, there was body damage on the left rear door and fender that already started rusting. That is NOT the way a vehicle may ever be handed to a customer. I told the manager that I would not accept a vehicle in that condition. I then requested an upgrade to a Golf which they gave me. Golf 8 was good but driving away, it showed ‘service due’. Again, totally unacceptable to give a vehicle that is not 100% to a customer. Very poor of Sixt 🤬
I certainly hope that the next time I decide to use Sixt, they will get it right. Perhaps Sixt should look at doing a hand over with each client. Yes everyone that rents a vehicle has a driver’s license but not everyone knows all the models and their functions.
