Via motorway

From Frankfurt/Düsseldorf/Oberhausen: Drive onto motorway A3 over junction Heumar, change onto motorway A 559 towards Bonn Airport. From Aachen/Olpe: Drive onto motorway A4 towards Bonn, at junction Gremberg change onto motorway A559 towards the airport.

With public transportation

You can use the following modes of public transportation to get to the Sixt branch at the airport: From Cologne/Porz: Bus linie 161. From Bonn: Bus linie 670. From Cologne/Deutz: suburban train line S13 as well as regional train line RE 8 (from Mönchengladbach). From Koblenz: suburban train line S13 as wella s regional train line RE 8 (from Koblenz). With the intercity express train (ICE) from the following cities: Frankfurt/Berlin/Stuttgart.

Vehicle return information

When approaching the Airport Highway drive straight ahead and head towards the arrival of Mietwagen/rental car. You drive straight through the barrier system and follow the signs for Mietwagen/rental car. When you arrive in car park 2, please use the right barrier and continue at ground level to the marked return zone of SIXT on the left.

I have used Sixt on multiple occasions and I must say they are so easy to use, the pick up was fast and efficient with the pleasure of being served by Luca who was super friendly and even upgraded our car for a discounted rate! On this particular occasion we suffered a puncture on our tyre and subsequently were stranded on the road. Sixt called out a tow truck to take our car away whilst simultaneously organising a replacement car to be delivered to us. It was a little longer wait than provided to us but eventually we were back on the road. Upon returning our vehicle Sixt had charged us for a day extra as their car was in the garage, I believe there was some miscommunication on their side. A quick email to Sixt to rectify this and we were reimbursed for our losses. Thank you sixt we will definitely be using you again.
