Good to know when renting in Cyprus
You must be at least 21 years old with a license held for 3 years to rent a car from SIXT. An underage driver fee applies. Some car categories require the driver to be 25.
Your license must have been valid for 3 years. If it is in a non-Roman alphabet it must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit. Chinese drivers need a translation of their license.
One-way rentals between SIXT stations are allowed for some vehicles. An additional fee may apply.
Cross-border rentals to Northern Cyprus are not allowed. If you do take your rental car across the border your vehicle protection will be invalid.
We only accept major credit cards at our Cyprus locations. Mastercard, Visa and American Express are valid forms of payment.
