The SIXT branch is situated in the arrivals hall at Sofia international airport, Terminal 2.
By car
The airport is situated about 5 km away from Sofia in Eastern direction. It is easiest to be reached via the Brussels Boulevard. Together with the Tsarigradsko shose it connects the city center directly with the airport. From both highways - A1 Trakia and A2 Hemus - please follow the airport signs as you are entering the city of Sofia.
SIXT Parking/Return
The SIXT parking area at Terminal 2 is located outdoors in the public parking lot P3, at the N1/N2 marked parking spots. Once a vehicle approaches the entrance (barrier), a camera will scan the registration plate and will recognize the SIXT vehicle and will automatically lift the barrier, for any problems with the barriers contact +359 888 134 306. Please do not take a parking ticket as this will incur additional costs for you. Please note that parking is not supervised. After parking the vehicle, please go to our SIXT branch in the arrivals hall.

I often rent cars from Terminal 2 in Sofia, but this was my first time renting with Sixt, and I’m very pleased with the experience. The process was fast, and the rental agent was excellent—he didn’t push me to buy overly expensive insurance, which I really appreciated. The deposit was reasonably priced, and the car was great—not brand new, but powerful enough to handle any drive confidently. I also liked that the car didn’t have any rental stickers, which was a nice touch. The car was parked outside the terminal in the new rental car park, which is very convenient. Overall, a hassle-free and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
